The Pin Attacher is specially designed to press contact pins into power electronics modules at the DBC and module levels. It supports various pin types that are fed in loose form and aligned and processed with high positioning accuracy.

Precise pressing of contact pins for power modules

The pins are vertically aligned and inserted into the housing via a force-controlled press-fit process. A force profile is recorded for each pin and can be stored for traceability, if desired. Up to six press-fit heads can operate simultaneously, ensuring maximum efficiency and process control.
